Happy New years! My newest fabrics!

This chicken fabric is just too cute! The flamingo remind me of warm weather fun!

This is a mighty Ouch-less pillows, it can help ease your ouch!

Pain and discomfort is no fun and having a seat belt pressing on a sore body part is even less fun. I have been there and that is why I make these pillows soft and fluffy!

My abdominal pillow’s work great for someone that has Endometriosis, just had a Hysterectomy, C-section, Mastectomy or Heart surgery. It cushions the seat belt from your G-tube and works with just about any post-op surgeries. Can be worn during Pregnancies as well!

My Abdominal Pillows are about 3″s deep of soft poly-fill fluff. I fill them with just the right amount of fluff to make them protect your ouch and soft enough to cushion you from the presser of the belt. Making the perfect Ouch-less pillow to wear during any time you are in the car. Soft enough to be flipped over and used to sleep on when attached to the upper belt.

Abdominal/Chest Pillow:
This Ouch-less pillow (Seat belt pillow) is designed to give you comfort while riding in a auto. Place the pillow where you need it, to cushion your ouch from the seat belt; across your chest or across you abdominal. There are 3 Hook N Loops strips to hold your pillow onto the seat belt.

How to use:
Wrap the hook and loop tape around your seat belt with the Ouch-less pillow against your body. The hook & loop tape snugs around the seat belt. Loosen the grip if you need it to slide with your movement or snug it up to hold its spot. If it moves around too much, try a piece of drawer liner between the seat belt and hook & loop tape. If the hook & loop tape is too long you can trim it down with scissors.

Material:
Abdominal pillow is made of 100% cotton fabric, poly-fil and hook N Loop tape.

Machine washable:
Close the hook & loop tape before washing; Wash on gentle; to help keep fuzz and lint out of the hook & loop tape, place into a washing bag/pillow case and close before washing and drying.

Washing and drying will re-fluff the pillow.

Size:
Approximate size Abdominal pillow 7″ wide x 13”long x 3.5 deep.

Made in a Pet and smoke free home.

A Hysterectomy seat belt pillow, I wish I had one of these when I had mine!!

This is NOT a safety device and will not provide protection (only comfort).

These are two mighty little Ouch-less pillows, they help ease your ouch!

This is for a set of 1 post op/comfort pillow and 1 port pillow.

How it works:
The *porta pillow raised design of the Ouch-less pillow takes the pressure of the seat belt off your port or pacemaker which helps ease your ouch. Wear it where you need it the most; over the port/pacemaker or on the port/pacemaker. It depends on how your seat belt fits you.

The Comfort/ post-Op pillow:

The comfort pillow can be used 10 different ways to bring you comfort. A little softness go a long ways!

1. Placed under your arm to ease the presser off your sore area from surgery.

2. Placed on chest between you and the seat belt.

3. Arm rest pillow, place under forearm, comfort from hard surfaces.

4. Breast support pillow, place under your breast when they are tender.

5. Between the breast.

6. Knee pillow, place between the knees while sleeping.

7. Lower Back pillow, place in the small of your back to aid back support.

8. Neck pillow, place at the back of the neck while resting.

9. IV tubes support, place under tubes to keep the weight off your body.

10. Butt pillow for tail bone spares.

I am sure there are many more ways one can use a cute comfort pillow!

How to use it:
Wrap the hook and loop tape around your upper seat belt with the Ouch-less pillow against your chest.

Options:
Hook and loop tape can be closed on either side of the Ouch-less pillow.
They work great even if you don’t have a port by keeping the seat belt off your shoulder bone!

Material:
Port pillow is made with 100% cotton fabric, poly-fil and hook & loop tape.
Post-op pillow is made of 100% cotton fabric and poly-fil.

New addition to my Esty store

I have been busy making port-a- cath seat belt pillows! Some to sell and some to be donated to the Pensacola Cancer Center.

I came across this information while surfing the web. I had never heard of a chemo port and did a closer look. I found My Recipe for Portacath Pillows. I made one then another until I had twenty made….Wow what fun and for a good cause. Now to find some place to donate them to; Now that was another challenge. I could not find any one listed on the Cancer center web site to talk to or email. After looking for awhile I found a coordinator so I called her. She redirected me to Linda Wall at the Cancer Center. She was thrilled to received them and stated that no one was donated them to the center.

I found one place that sold them for $20.00, wow way too much!  Now I make some to give to the center and some to sell at $5.95 each. Part of each sales goes to making more for the center.

I have change the pattern a little instead of using 4 or 3.5 hook and loop tape I use 3″ of hook and loop tape that way you can tighten it up tighter on your seat belt.

This is a fun and easy project for any person or organization can do to help easy the pain of a port!

Happy sewing!
